After the trial that was last week, Friday, I went shopping with some friends at Old Navy where we got great deals and 30% discount! My friend got a 30% discount card that all of us were allowed to use, so we just passed it down the row as we each got to the cashier. Then, we went to Mickey D's and got Happy Meals, complete with the little toys which we then took to a park and sat on the bleachers to eat. Then, we went to the dollar theater to watch "Bride Wars." Such a chick flick, but cute and great with fun friends and for $1.75, you can't argue :) When the movie was over, we'd planned on going to someone's house to play games, but at 9:45 after a long week and early starts the next day, we all just went home (isn't getting old fun?!!!).
ps I told this story to my family yesterday and my little 10 year old brother raised his hand to show his desire to make a comment (he always raises his hand at the table to get attention-- poor kid is the youngest of 7 with 5 older sisters...). His comment, in all seriousness was, "Didn't you feel juvenile getting Happy Meals? I mean toys are for little kids. And you, are not little kids." Gotta love the Will-Bud!

Wish I had gone with you ladies! Sure beats studying for dumb ol' Praxis tests. Oh well. It's over, that's all I can say :)
