Today, I decided to go to the Oquirrh Mountain Temple Open House, even though I didn't have reservations (and they did check for them but thankfully let me park!) When I was looking for a space to park I was astonished to see my good friend with her baby! Surprise!! I managed to park and get to behind them in line and so we got to go through the temple together!
This friend and I met back in first grade when my family moved into their ward in Tucson. We became instant friends at the ripe old age of 6 and have been friends ever since! She moved to Utah during elementary school but we wrote letters here and there (actual letters since email didn't exist yet!) After I moved to Orlando, her parents flew her
down to visit when we were about 14. We hung out during our time at BYU but lost contact once I moved back to FL after the mission.
