Rise and Shout the Cougars are out along to trail to fame and glory!
Rise and shout our cheers will ring out as we unfold a victory story!
On we go to vanquish the foe for alma mater's sons and daughters
As in join in song
In praise of you
our faith is strong
We'll rise the banner high in the blue
and cheer the cougars of BYU!
RaRa RaRaRa! RaRa RaRaRa!!
GOOOOOO COUGAAAARRRS!
The five of us that are BYU alumni sang so enthusiastically together-- reminding me how fun it is to cheer for your school with your friends! Sadly, the song just didn't hold true. The BYU-FSU game was a train wreck posing as a football game.

But, a lot of my teacher friends (most of them, in fact) got together at the place with the TV channel showing the game (my place), made Macho Nachos (basically a taco salad you make yourself), ate Key Lime Pie (as per request by people who were here on my b'day) and had fun together-- until it just got too painful to watch...
The sad part was that after we sang the BYU Fight song enthusiastically for the first two touchdowns, the game sort of imploded and got worse and worse and worse and we were left dumbfounded wondering what in the heck happened to the cougars from the last two weeks. By third touchdown we sort of muddled our way through the song and by the fourth touchdown those of us who were left just sat and wondered why the scores didn't happen sooner. Final score: BYU- 28 FSU- 54. Bleh. So much for the grand BCS busting team we were hoping for!

Let me know when we get a team together that has some consistency to it. Thanks.
I was there it was painful. It was sold out to start out with and half empty by the 4th quarter.
