Eve Dinner

One of our Christmas Eve traditions is what we have for dinner: meatballs in bbq and gormet sauce, potato salad, fruit salad, fresh homemade rolls, cheese balls in 2 flavors with 3 types of crackers, veggie tray, cranberry juice/Sprite drink, and a bowl of M&Ms. This year, we added Oreo Balls after they became our favorite new treat this season.

What's great about this meal is that while we use crystal goblets, they are paired with paper plates AND most everything is finger and dipping friendly-- a huge plus!

Dad: Please hand me a roll, E.
E: (instead of passing down the basket, picks up a roll and passes it to T, who passed it to Mom, who handed it to Dad)
Mom: E, it's proper etiquette to pass the basket and not just one roll.
L: Let's talk about proper etiquette as we stuff rolls with meatballs and eat them with our fingers.
E: And we stick crackers in cheese balls.
