While I was in Phoenix, my dear old friend, Lorana, and I went to the Mesa Temple. We've been friends since elementary school but this was the first time we've even been to the temple together. It was a great time! After the temple and a quick lunch at Subway, we went to downtown Phoenix to Chase Field (where the Arizona Diamondbacks baseball team plays) for Commencement. I sat on the 3rd base line!
I finally got to go to the Tulip Festival at Thanksgiving Point! Not quite as cool as I'd imagined it (I was thinking about the tulip days in Carlsbad, CA where there are hills covered by flowers), but it was still pretty.

Sunday before I went to Phoenix, my beautiful little niece, Brisa was blessed. She was a mere 5 days old and so cute! My mom made the blessing dress, which ended up being about 2 feet longer than its occupant!
