Happy 4th!

The Tabernacle Choir broadcast today was AWESOME-- in the true sense of the word. All the songs were about the flag and it was great! Elder Anderson of the Twelve was there sitting by Sen. Orrin Hatch. It made me feel good that a US Senator was at a religious  event on Sunday, July 4th (yes, I know he's LDS, but still...). I loved tapping my feet to "You're a grand ol' flag, you're a high flying flag" and "Seventy six trombones led the big parade...", "God bless American, land that I love" made me cry. It was a really fantastic way to be patriotic today.

I was there, too! I really loved the program today. I think it was one of my favorites ever. It was a great way to spend the 4th of July.
