One year I went to Florida.

The next year, I went to San Diego.
The year after that, I went to Beijing, China!
This year, I traded in packing and unpacking a suitcase; sitting for hours on a plane or in a car; taking hundreds of pictures and filling up memory cards for sleeping in; going to lunch with friends; hitting an 8am temple session and sitting in the Celestial Room for over an hour having a whispered conversation with a dear friend; planning another big birthday party for a sibling; watching movies until late with family; making a fun craft for my dad; and generally relaxing.
By the end of the week, my habitually labored breathing was gone. Gone, I tell you! What a difference it makes being able to to through a day without having to stretch my lungs to get enough air or force a yawn to draw a breath! I was even able to go for 3 mile walks without being dead tired by the time I got home. (I HATE that I struggle to even walk 3 miles when there was a time not too long ago when I could run, literally run, twelve miles without being super tired. Lame!) Further proof that my job really is a threat to my overall health.
One day, I went up to Layton to hang out with W and T who were also out of school. We went to Zurchers to get the paper goods for T's birthday party coming up on Cinco de Mayo at 5:55! Her birthday isn't until a couple of days later but I've always wanted to plan a party on May 5 and so she conceded it would make for a fun b'day party. Zurchers is an awesome place to go; we spent over an hour looking around and eventually, trying on hats!

For Easter Sunday, I invited my family over and I made four gourmet pizzas (buffalo chicken wing, spinach/asparagus, taco, and salami/pepperoni) bread sticks and deviled eggs for everyone. I didn't get a single picture of the event but it was a great time! We played Reverse Charades and absolutely had a blast! In Reverse Charades, everyone on the team goes up to act out the word(s) and one person on the team has to guess! It's pretty awesome.
On Monday the boyfriend and I took the kiddos to the new City Creek Mall downtown as our family night activity. Wow! It's incredibly amazing! I probably will never buy anything from Tiffany's or the Porsche Clothing store, but hey! it's a fun outing!
