Christmas break... the first couple days

So far Christmas break has been good! Sunday night we had the traditional family Christmas party with the family up here in SLC/Davis county. It's so fun to just get together, hang out, talk, catch up, etc! What's really fun is having lots of little kids running around again :)

Sunday night my sisters spent the night and we had a fun little sleepover watching chick flicks, making Christmas cards, eating chocolate, we went sledding Monday morning, and played in the snow! So fun :)

Yesterday, I got a text from a guy I work with (and starting hanging out with last week) to go to the dollar theater to see "The City of Ember" with him. I'd been sitting in my pj's reading Eragon when I got the text so I quickly got dressed and went over there. It's a good movie to see once-- I liked it because I'd read the book and I think if you've read the book it will make more sense... Anyway... it was a good time talking with this guy outside of school. We went to Cafe Rio for lunch and spent a good hour talking about dating.

After leaving him, I went to another friend's house to exchange presents before she had to go to her seasonal job at Target. We ended up going down to IKEA because I wanted to get a present for my almost born nephew and I fell in love! It was highly unexpected but I fell head over heels! I saw him on the 2nd floor by all the kid's stuff and then when I saw him again by the checkout stand, I picked him up and realized he has the perfect huggable-ness, the perfect texture, and at about 2.5 feet long he's the perfect height and I just couldn't resist buying the adorable stuffed elephant! I figure that since I've lost a couple of guys this year that were fun to cuddle with, I deserve a cute elephant to keep me warm on these cold, Winter nights :) Merry Christmas to me!
