After what has been one of the longest weeks EVER, I finally have something to look forward to... which, in and of itself, is a good thing since just Sunday I was lamenting to my wonderful mom that nothing was on the horizon except school and more school for me... prices on plane tickets have been less that $200 for a while from SLC to Orlando (the great place I spent my teenage years in) but never for when I could leave BUT this week, I found tickets for when I Spring Break AND I got my principal to approve my being gone the two days before we're officially out and the first day back AND I found a sub and lined her up for the three days I'll be gone AND I got my tickets so that I'll be gone from April 7 to the 14 AND I'll be in marvelous Florida for my sister's birthday!!!!!!!
I cannot even explain what this has done for my lagging spirits this week. We're talking lagging spirits like I stayed in bed until 6:35am-- the time I'm usually putting on my coat and heading out the door as I answer the phone to talk to G-- I just didn't want to go to school this week (there've been all sorts of gang junk going on in West Valley and the little mini gangsters at school have been acting up).
Now I have a reason to work out again (swimsuits are always GREAT motivation... that and being around guys you like... but there aren't any of those at the moment) and avoid sugar. I haven't found anything fun to do for my thirtieth birthday yet (which is a month from today) so knowing I get to fly cross-country two months from today and be in wonderful humidity and the land of the Mouse (Mickey) makes me smile from head to toe (if pinky toes could smile, they would be grinning from side to side!)

Let me know if you come up with any brilliant ideas for your thirtieth. I'll do the same for you. Hannah will be baptized on your birthday, but I'll be thinking of you. Maybe your Florida trip could serve as your big bash for your birthday, just a little late.
1. you have an EXTREMELY long run-on sentence. I thought you were an English teacher?
2. You once told me there was a North Pole clothing line that was along the lines of South Pole that gangsters wear. I told you there was no such line. I was right. I googled it.
3. I have to go to school while you will be here because my spring break is in March.
4. I will try to see if we can do Disney one day..
5. I don't have food so I'll have to stock up.. what do you like?
Yay! I'm so excited for you to get to go to Florida. It will be fun to finally be able to see your little nephew. You still need to come visit. I was thinking that I might crash your temple night at the Jordan River temple...what do you think? Can you believe that just a year ago we were part-time roommates?! That was so much fun. I'm so glad we got to do it. Well, I would love to see you sometime soon when you have time even if I don't make it to the temple trip. My schedule is pretty flexible these days. I just have to plan around diaper changes, naps and feedings. :-)
