the happy couple

My amazing cousin got married yesterday in the Jordan River Temple to great guy who fits in with her (and our extended) family!

She's been like one of my sisters since I lived with her family in 2001 during my student teaching. We had a lot of fun together back then when she was in middle school and I'm so happy for her :)

Her husband is really thoughtful and funny. Last week I went up to Logan to be there when she went through the temple for the first time. Afterwards, we went out to eat and he decided to wait by the door (of the little diner) for my aunt and uncle, letting Crista and me have about 15 min alone so we could talk and catch up. Later, we went to their house (that he bought for her as part of his proposal) and he says, "Hey, Adrienne, my dad's name is Roger, too. So we can do all those Roger jokes."
I immediatly responded with, "Ok, then, roger that!"
And he just laughed.

Yesterday they were both just beaming the whole day-- just like you'd expect a newlywed couple to be!!
