Monday menagerie

I saw a guy on the freeway eating something with chop sticks. Seriously? Who can eat with a regular utensil, like a fork, let alone chop sticks, while driving?
****
Friday I bought up a dress that was regularly priced at $88 for only $21!
****
I've been experimenting with banana bread recipes lately; I only like bananas that are green or pale yellow, so I end up with a lot of really ripe bananas perfect for bread making!
****
I love reading autobiographies--I'm loving I Married Adventure by Osa Johnson. I think I have the only copy of it in the SL County library system, so when I return it, I highly suggest someone checks it out!
****
The Guernsey Literary and Potato Peel Pie Society was a great book! I just love the idea of people meeting over written communication and then falling in love in person (why hasn't this worked for me yet?!!)
****
I am working on an article for the Ensign about the importance of literacy in keeping a religious society going. I doubt they'll publish it, but I'm going to send it in anyways!
****
I am embarrassed to say that I want to see "New Moon" to see if the adaptation is better than "Twilight" was.
****
I still get a secret pleasure out of USC football being ranked below the top 5.
****
My friends and I are going to the BYU-Air Force football game in a couple weeks and I'm excited to wear Cougar blue at the stadium again.
****
Now that I have a Master's degree, I'm contemplating trying to get a part-time job as adjunct faculty at the community college, at the BYU Salt Lake extension or at the U of U.
****
I've been checking flight prices to Rome, Madrid, Paris, Vienna, and Geneva for next summer (currently at about $1400-- so I'm going to wait to buy a ticket).
****
It's pathetic but I haven't spoken to my grandmother since July.
****
In Taekwon Do, sometimes we have to do cartwheels. I, however, put my hands on the floor and sort of hop sideways, stand up, walk a couple of steps and do it again; I have never in my life been able to do a cartwheel or handstand.

I want to see the dress! And if you get that job, definitely let me know. Hmmm,...Europe? Sounds like fun!
