I love the Olympics. I love watching people perform better than they have in their lives. I really enjoy watching the crashes in speed skating, snow boarding. Have you seen Snowboard Cross? Four people race down a hill at the same time and try to push each other out-- it's crazyness! I love watching the faces of the gold medal winners as they see their flag go up and they mouth their national anthem. I proudly confess that I had tears watching the Stars and Stripes go up for the women's mogul winner, Hannah Kearney.
My bed time has been pushed back so I can see who wins in figure skating-- why is this event always on after 10?! Last night the Chinese won pairs figure skating. Tonight, the US men have skated well-- one guy wore a girl's outfit complete with pink tassel and corset. Good times :)
