Saturday, my mom and I gave my sister-in-law and brother a baby shower. My brother came at his wife's insistance and he cracked me up with his "enthusiasm" or lack thereof at being at a "hen's party," as my grandma called it. For the most part, he hung with his uncle-in-law behind all the women, but then got pulled back into the fray.
He's so cute and his reactions at having "help" open presents was classic. When I asked him to pass around the cute little outfits they were getting, he looked up with the most quizzical look on his face and said, "Seriously? You want to see clothes?" Um, yes, dear brother. Women like to hold up the little outfits, coo over their cuteness and feel the soft material baby stuff is made up of! He didn't get it, but he did start passing around all the gifts and then proceed to laugh when all the women coo-ed and oo-ed and ah-ed over it all!
He'll be a cute daddy in a couple weeks!
