The Friday before my birthday, I hung out with a couple friends from school and we went up to the zoo only to discover it was closing in 30 minutes, so we did what any self-respecting group of single girls does at 5pm on a Friday-- we went to dinner! We chose a hole-in-the-wall organic place downtown and had some really delicious food (including bread pudding smothered in caramel sauce- YUM-O)! After dinner we met up with some other people and saw "Percy Jackson and the Lightning Thief". What a fun evening :)
