new title

I officially became the English Department Chair at school this week!

I've been sort of acting the part for a couple of weeks, ever since the current Chair broke down in a department meeting one afternoon and said she really needed someone to take over. I was nominated-- even though I'm still the last one hired in the department (I've been there 6 years).

Still not sure what next school year will hold, however.
