falalala Lifetime

Ok, I'm done now. I watched every Lifetime movie yesterday... no, this is not an exaggeration! I had the worst headache, couldn't sleep, couldn't read, couldn't do anything but make hot chocolate (with snowman marshmallows) and grilled cheese sandwiches (with bread from Great Harvest), lay on my pillow, cuddle with my blankets in my pj's and watch cheesy Christmas movies ALL DAY LONG!

I saw movies about grouchy single women who find love; couples whose children trick them into going to the beach for Christmas so they can fall in love again; dads who wants their kids for Christmas; artists who find the true meaning of "light" and Christmas; grouchy men who "wake up" to realize what they have; single people who wish for love for Christmas and get it; long lost friends find each other and fall in love again ... you get the idea!

What I love about these Christmas movies is that Christmas magic always saves the day, kindness always prevails, hope always wins in the end, love always conquers all, and family and friends are always a newly discovered treasure.

I had a good cry here and there throughout the day,and honestly, every single movie brought tears to my eyes... I'm not sure if that's because of the insane amount of pressure in my head or I'm just one of those people who now gets touched by Christmastime humanness.

Whatever it was, I had as enjoyable day as possible and am now done with cheesy Christmas movies for this year!

(oh wait... there's another new one one later today... and I still haven't seen "White Christmas", "It's a Wonderful Life" or "Holiday Inn"...)

So, I totally recorded all of the Lifetime (and Hallmark) Christmas movies and I watched almost all of them, too! I love cheesy Christmas movies. Which were your favorite? I really liked The Christmas Card, The Christmas Choir and the one about the two kids whose mom was in rehab and their aunt ran away with them to keep them from foster care. That one was sooo good. It sounds like you had an awesome Christmas, too. Mine was soooo great! Sorry you were sick. I got sick the week of Christmas, but by Christmas day I was feeling much better. It makes you appreciate health when you do have it!
